Residential Security Checks
If you are interested in our agency completing a residential security check while you are on vacation or out of town for an extended period of time; please fill out a Residential Security Check form and turn in to the Zebulon Police Department front desk.
Safe Exchange Zone
In an effort to protect Zebulon residents from becoming victims of crime when selling or purchasing items advertised online, the Zebulon Police Department has introduced an initiative designed to provide a safe zone for transactions called “Operation Safe Sale.”
This designated area is located at the Zebulon Police Department located at 1001 N. Arendell Avenue. Residents may come to this location... in order to complete their transactions. Transactions can be conducted with or without a police officer present.
At the request of either party, a police officer will be available to check the serial number to determine whether the item has been entered through state or national databases as stolen property.
Anyone wishing to have an officer present will be required to schedule an appointment by calling 919-823-1818. Please be cautious about bringing any firearms or weapons inside the building as to they need to be maintained in a manufactured case or left inside your vehicle until you have spoken with a representative of Zebulon Police Department.
Please note: The Zebulon Police Department will not make any representations or warranties regarding the goods or services transferred between parties. Any item found entered as stolen through a state or national database will be subject to seizure and criminal charges may result.
Lock It, Remove It, or Lose It Campaign
The Lock It, Remove It, or Lose It Campaign is an initiative to encourage citizens to remove valuables from their vehicles, hide them out of site of others, and lock their vehicles upon parking them. We urge citizens to please lock their vehicles, remove all items of value, or risk the loss and become a crime of opportunity.
