Administrative Assistant — Part-Time—Town of Zebulon is seeking a dependable person to work four hours per day (M-F 10-2) with some flexibility in start time. Minimum qualifications include working knowledge of MS office software and basic office equipment required. Excellent oral, written and organizational skills. This position will perform a variety of administrative tasks including, but not limited to answering phones and responding to inquiries, general office duties of copying and filing, preparing for meetings including setting up 8' tables and moving chairs, updating Town website and social media sites, scheduling meeting spaces, bi-weekly payroll for department, research as needed and upkeep of permanent records. Graduation from an accredited college or university with an associate’s degree in business or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience. Hiring range is $10 - $12/hour.
