The Market vendors also offer free-range poultry and eggs, pasture pork, honey, baked goods, pastries, jams, jellies, relishes, pickles, sauces, homemade soaps, handcrafted soy candles, fresh herbs, ornamental plants, vegetable plants, artwork and much more.
Come participate in many entertaining activities. While you shop unwind and relax while listening to live music provided by local musicians. Bring the children for free, fun activities. Visit with one of our visiting chef and learn how to cook up some of the wonderful products our vendors will be offering. Programs provided by Wake County Human Services will be a fun way to learn something new. Don't miss or giveaways! Enter to win a $25 basket of goods from the Market!
The Zebulon Farm Fresh Market strives to provide low-income families in the area access to fresh, local produce. The Market has implemented several programs to encourage access for those in need. Therefore, EBT cards are accepted at the Market with a match of up to $25. Match dollars are made possible by a generous grant from the John Rex Endowment. WIC vouchers specifically for farmers markets are also accepted at the Zebulon Farm Fresh Market.
The Zebulon Farm Fresh Market has partnered with Farmer Foodshare and the Zebulon United Methodist Church to help those in need in our community. Farmer Foodshare is a 501c program that connects people who grow food with people who need food. While you shop at the Market, please visit the Farmer Foodshare tent and donate cash or food from the market. Cash collected will be used to purchase food from the Market vendors. All food collected, purchased and donated will be distributed at the Zebulon United Methodist Food Pantry. Everybody wins!
Also new to the Market is Kids Summer Meals. Kids Summer Meals is a USDA program that ensures that children in low-income areas continue to receive nutritious meals during long school vacations when they do not have access to school lunch or breakfast. Each Saturday during the summer, from 9am to 1pm, the Food Bank of Central and Eastern North Carolina is sponsoring this program for any child 18 and under at the Zebulon Farm Fresh Market.
