🎬 Eastern Wake County: The African American Experience Join us for the premiere of a new video documentary by Desi L. Campbell on Sunday, March 1, 2026, from 2–4 p.m. (keynote at 3 p.m.) at the Zebulon Community Center. The film explores the histories and lived experiences of African American communities across Eastern Wake County, with connections to Nash and Franklin counties, highlighting churches, family lineages, Rosenwald schools, and local figures who shaped the region. Desi L. Campbell, award-winning genealogist, Zebulon native, author, and filmmaker, will be present for the screening and community discussion. Presented with support from the Harnett County African American Heritage Center, Town of Zebulon Parks & Recreation, and the James E.
