This free, seven-week program gives residents a behind-the-scenes look at modern policing through classroom learning and hands-on activities. Space is limited. Presented in partnership with the MLK Community Zebulon Chapter Workshop Choir, this Celebration Musical will feature powerful voices from Wake and Johnston counties coming together for an uplifting tribute through song. His commitment to collaboration and service continues to strengthen the partnerships that make our community events meaningful and impactful. For in-town residents, natural trees can be placed at the curb by the Sunday before your yard waste week, with all decorations removed, including lights, ornaments, tinsel, and bases. The 2026 Yard Waste map and schedule can be found at https://www.townofzebulon.org/public-works/yard-waste-collection. Artificial trees *without lights* can be put at the curb by Thursday evenings for collection as bulk waste on Fridays, with all decorations removed. The 2026 Solid Waste Schedule and information about the bulk waste program can be found at https://www.townofzebulon.org/public-works/solid-waste-services. Pre-lit artificial trees cannot be collected by the Town, but residents can dispose of them at the Wake County Convenience Center at 5051 Wendell Blvd. Additional information about Wake County solid waste may be found at https://www.wake.gov/recycling
