Town of Zebulon offices and facilities will be closed Friday, July 3, in observance of the Independence Day holiday.

Trash collection will take place on Friday as scheduled. Please place your carts out Thursday evening for pickup. Recycling will remain on its normal schedule for the week of June 29.

We recognize the printed collection calendar incorrectly listed trash pickup for July 4 and apologize for any confusion.

Trash Collection Update

The Town of Zebulon would like to clarify this week’s solid waste schedule. Due to an error on the printed collection calendar, trash collection will take place on Friday, July 3, not July 4. We apologize for any confusion.

Please note:

• There will be no bulk waste pickup this week.

• Recycling will remain on its normal schedule.

• Yard waste crews will collect Monday through Thursday, with any remaining routes completed the following week.

If your trash is not collected on Friday, please contact Public Works at 919-269-5285 by Monday at 12 p.m. If you reach voicemail, please leave your address and contact information so staff can follow up.
