A reminder to residents: Grass clippings, leaves, and other yard waste should not be placed in the street or near storm drains. Yard waste should be placed behind the curb for collection. Storm drains are designed to carry rainwater only. When yard debris enters the stormwater system, it can contribute to clogged drains, localized flooding, and water quality impacts in nearby waterways.
