Full - Time - This position is under the general supervision of the Fire Captain, responds to fire and medical emergencies and other requests for service, performs fire prevention, maintains fire station and equipment, performs office work, and all other duties as requested by the supervisor.
- Responds to reports of emergencies, which include fires, emergency medical calls, technical rescue incidents, hazardous materials, and other situations that may present hazards or harm to people or property.
- Inspects, maintains and makes minor repairs to apparatus, equipment and vehicles.
- Performs station maintenance duties including storing equipment, cleaning and maintaining the grounds.
- Conducts pre-incident surveys.
- Performs annual maintenance and testing of fire hydrants, hoses and other equipment and vehicles as required.
- Participates in mandatory physical fitness and other training.
- Assists with the preparation of fire reports.
- Represents the department at special events including but not limited to parades, open houses, station tours, educational activities and community presentations.
- Performs other duties as required.
Salary Range: $51,858 - $70,718

This is a seasonal position in the Public Works Department. The position will assist the Public Works staff with various aspects of landscaping duties. Position is scheduled to work seasonal hours Monday – Friday beginning May – September. The nature of this work will require staff to work outside in various environmental conditions for extended periods of time. Duties may require one to sit, stand, stoop, bend, lift and reach.

Full-Time - This is a new position providing administrative support to the Fire Department leadership and staff. They would be under the general supervision of the Fire Chief, performing a variety of administrative tasks such as record-keeping, public contact, report building, maintaining databases, and office management duties requiring independent initiative and program knowledge. Involves public contact requiring tact and discretion in handling public information matters in the assigned program areas.
